BREATHE

Breathe, and you shall live.

Breathe wholly, and you shall rise in the sky.

Immerse your body entirely with an inhale, then empty it with an exhale.

Absorb it from the universe, and gently lay it back.

Soon the difference shall occur.

We are not used to observing our breathing. Instead, we breathe subconsciously. It is not until we become aware of our breathing that we start to notice processes inside ourselves of which we previously weren’t aware. In this manner, we can see how strained we are. When pain occurs, focused breathing can ease your body into pleasant relaxation. Then, a smile arises. The pain is replaced by happiness. A tear might even be shed. Your body now feels relieved, as if an immense burden has been removed. A path for energy opens once again, energy floods your being, and soon, blissfulness returns again. When we are held captive by stress, we are in the grip of emotions. In those circumstances, breathe, breathe, breathe, and slowly, you will be welcomed in salvation. Do this every day, regardless of whether happiness is all around you or sadness is challenging you—breathe, and you shall rise in the air like a bird.

Breathing wholly:

  • Make yourself comfortable

  • Inhale as if you want to draw in the whole world

  • Hold your breath for a moment

  • Exhale fully into the mighty world

  • Pause for a moment

  • Repeat the exercise

Thank yourself for breathing wholly, and thank the world, which embraced your being once again.
